Ranveer Singh has shared a new still from his upcoming film, ’83. In the film, the actor plays former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev when he led Team India to victory during the 1983 cricket World Cup.

The new photo posted by Ranveer Singh bears an uncanny resemblance to the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. The photo depicts the former standing at Lords Stadium in London, lifting the trophy with a wide smile on his face.

The film that is set to release on April 10 is jointly produced by Phantom Films, Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishnu Vardhan Induri, it is co-distributed by Reliance Entertainment.
