A Web-Series On The 2007 ICC T20 World Cup Is Being Developed. Here’s What We Know

Way back in 2007, the inaugural ICC T20 World Cup was held and it was special for us Indians as India captured the ICC T20 World Cup trophy by defeating Pakistan by five runs in a thrilling final at Johannesburg.

This was the beginning of the T20 World Cup that is still in trend.

Well, if you loved and cherished every moment of the 2007 T20 Cricket World Cup, we have some good news for you! A web-series on the same has been announced. Yes, you read that right! The title of the multi-lingual documentary has not been announced yet but the documentary will apparently feature 15 Indian cricketers.

If reports are to be believed, an A-list actor will also be associating with the project.

With this, Director Anand Kumar and writer Saurabh M Pandey will cover the untold journey of the Indian cricket team in 2007, lead by then Captain MS Dhoni.

The web-series is set to release in 2023 and is already in its shooting phase.
