Beyonce Leads Grammy 2023 Nominations With 9 Nods; Harry Styles, BTS Follow

Highest honour in the music industry, the Grammy Award 2023 nominees were announced by the Recording Academy on November 15, through live streaming, and guess what? Everyone’s favourite – Beyonce and Harry Styles earned the biggest nods at The 65th Grammy Awards, which is scheduled to take place on 5th of February 2023.

This year’s awards will be hosted by comedian Trevor Noah. At the event, 91 categories were announced along with the big four categories- song of the year, record of the year, best new artist and album of the year. While Beyonce became the top nominee for the 65th annual Grammy Awards, with nine nods, which makes a total tally of 88 nods of her entire career, making her compete with her husband Jay-Z, who has the most nominations received by any musician in the history of the awards. 

Rapper Kendrick Lamar received the second highest nomination. He received eight nods. He was followed by the pop singer Adele, who has a tie with Brandi Carlile, both receiving seven nominations each. 

Not just Beyonce but Harry Styles and BTS that made a mark on the Grammy 2023 nominations list as. Harry Styles is nominated for the total of six categories which includes Record of the year, Song of the year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Music Video, Record of the Year, recognizing overall performance on a song and Song of the Year, recognizing songwriting. Apart from this the K-pop boy band BTS made it to the list again by bagging 3 nominations. The group has been nominated for the award of pop duo/ group performance for the third time in row. This time the band has been nominated for ‘My Universe’ that was in collaboration with ‘Coldplay’.
