Bhuvan Bam On How To Become An ‘Influencer’

YouTuber turned actor, Bhuvan Bam who started his journey with his YouTube channel BB ki Vines which in today’s date has about 25 million followers is all set to make his OTT debut.

During a recent interview with GOODTiMES’ Puja Talwar, the ‘Taazaa Khabar’ actor talks about an incident he never wants to re-experience, tips to become an influencer, his upcoming series and much more along with his co-star Shriya Pilgaonkar.

For the uninitiated, ‘Taaza Khabar’ is Bhuvan Bam’s digital debut that revolves around the life of a sanitation worker and how he stumbles upon magical powers which leads to a riveting new ride for the man, and how it stirs his humble life.

When  Bhuvan Bam was asked what one should do to become an influencer in 2023. The actor promptly responded to the same and said, “If you want to become popular by making reels then do what others are doing. I think this is the only thing. Like yesterday somebody asked us to perform on the trending audio ‘mera dil ye pukare ajaa’. I know about this audio, you know about it and yesterday Shriya also got to know that there is a reel like this that is going viral. I think that the concept of reels is to ruin your favourite song. Social media is all about shoving something in your face. Earlier you had to tell people to come to the theater and watch the film but now social media is on everybody’s fingertips. Social media is not that difficult as now everything is about the algorithm and creativity has taken a back seat.” 

The Youtuber also talks about a rumour he wants to spread about himself ans a hashtag that describes him the best.
