The actress shared a tweet about how the song was extremely special to her. She asked her fans and followers to recreate her moves in a challenge on popular video app TikTok, and offered a special surprise for the ones who did!
Tezaab, the film, and its superhit song Ek Do Teen both opened the doors for Madhuri Dixit, as the film industry welcomed her with open arms. Unprecedented love showered the way of the actress, and countless remakes later, the original is still evergreen and golden!
The actress had won her first ever nomination for the film. Moreover, it brought into the limelight mainstream Bollywood choreography, as Filmfare award for best choreographer was introduced with the film, and awarded to the one who gave the most iconic moves – Saroj Khan. Anil Kapoor had also won Best Actor award at Filmfare, which was another feather in his cap post the success of Mr. India. The actor too, took to Twitter to talk about how much the film meant to him and Madhuri.
