Alia Bhatt Is ‘Petrified’ To Shoot With Daddy Mahesh Bhatt! Find Out Why

‘Sadak 2’ marks the first time that Alia Bhatt is being directed by her father, Mahesh Bhatt. And as the shoot for the film is about to begin, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share her trepidation about the shoots beginning.

“I begin shoot in a few days and honestly, I’m petrified. I feel like a tiny mouse trying to climb a beautiful, immense, emotional mountain,” wrote Alia Bhatt in the post. She further added to the post the fact that she hopes her journey will be a memorable one, as she looked forward to the whole process which she is embarking on with her father.

I hope I make it to the top and if I fall I hope I’m able to get up again. It’s a tough climb but from everything I’ve seen and everything I’ve heard, I know every single step and misstep will be worth it! Here’s to movies, family, dreams and starting out on a brand NEW journey! And what a journey it’s going to be!!!!

The announcement was made on Mahesh Bhatt’s birthday, when Alia had taken to Instagram to wish her father and announce her first-ever collaboration with her dad. “Thank you daddy from the bottom of my heart, soul and bones. This will be a journey of discovery.. Of life, movies, feeling, and most of all… Of a father and daughter,” she had captioned the post.

Mahesh Bhatt would often say, on various occasions, that he doesn’t work with the superstars in the industry. Now that Alia Bhatt is the most saleable star, it seems like he made the right choice!
