‘Sadak 2’ which is the sequel to the 1991 film ‘Sadak’ is in the first stage of production, and shooting for the film has been going on for quite a few days in Ooty. Alia Bhatt shared a selfie with her father Mahesh Bhatt, announcing the wrap of the Ooty schedule of ‘Sadak 2’.

“Schedule wrap.. My not so old man has more energy than the entire crew put together.. love you daddy.. until next time,” wrote Alia Bhatt in the caption to the post. Mahesh Bhatt himself has returned to direction after nearly two decades, and the first edition of Sadak was directed by him too. The 1991 film Sadak had Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt as the lead pair, and they will be playing pivotal roles in the sequel as well. Sadak 2 will see Aditya Roy Kapur and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The film is the first collaboration for Mahesh Bhatt and Alia, as the film marks the first time Alia is being directed by father Mahesh Bhatt.
The Ooty schedule of Sadak 2 had the entire Bhatt family present – be it for work purposes, or just for fun! Alia Bhatt posted a couple of pictures chilling with her mother Soni Razdan as well as her sisters Shaheen and Pooja Bhatt.
