The Sriram Raghavan directed black comedy thriller, AndhaDhun will release as ‘Piano Player’. Trade analyst taran Adarsh took to Twitter to reveal the poster, ‘AndhaDhun to release in #China as #PianoPlayer…”, he wrote. The film had made Rs. 73.37 crore on its release in India last October. This will be the first China release for director Raghavan and lead actor Ayushmann Khurrana!
“I am super thrilled that Andhadhun is releasing in China. Ten years back, on a visit to China, I walked into a Beijing Cafe and was zapped to see Nasir Husain’s Caravan playing on a big screen. Dubbed in Chinese except for the songs. I was told the film was the favourite Indian film of that generation. I am curious how the Chinese audience responds to our musical thriller,” Raghavan said in a statement.
The plot of the film revolves around Akash, a piano player who pretends to be visually impaired and finds himself entangled in a web of deceit and intrigue after he witnesses a murder.
