After coming together with his daughter Sonam in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, Anil Kapoor is all set to share screen-space with son Harshvardhan in a forthcoming release next year – a biopic on Indian shooter, Olympic Gold Medalist Abhinav Bindra.
The two have started preparations for the film. A source reveals “Anil Kapoor and Harshvardhan have grown close to the Bindras through the course of the making the biopic.”
It was only recently that Anil Kapoor, who will be seen starring on reel as Apjit Bindra, met the real life Apjit Bindra and his wife in Chandigarh. “They spoke at length, discussing the film and other aspects that could be incorporated into the biopic, since they want it to be as real and authentic as possible”, added the source.
When contacted, confirmed Anil Kapoor, “Great stories deserve to be told and we had the pleasure of understanding the family’s journey and Abhinav Bindra’s career graph. This is a film that we’re all really excited to bring to the silver screen”.
