Gully Boy is the release that is on everyone’s mind. The film’s recently launched trailer was something new, unique, and out of the box. The great reviews to the trailer just prove beyond doubt that Indian audiences are opening up to new and engaging stories – and some exciting performances! The film’s first full rap music track by none other than Ranveer Singh just released.
Gully Boy, who’s slogan is ‘Apna Time Aayega’ stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in key roles. The duo are also accompanied by Kalki Koechlin in the film. The film is all set to release on the 14th of February, 2019 and is based on the lives of underground rappers Divine and Naezy. Ranveer Singh stars in the lead role, and apparently has even lent his voice to some of the songs in the film.
Is there anything that Ranveer Singh doesn’t do? The song is composed by Divine himself, along with Dub Sharma and lyrics are penned by Divine and Ankur Tiwari. “Tu nanga his toh aaya hai, kya ghanta le kar jaayega?” as the song correctly puts the essence of life in a single line.
