Like many of his contemporaries, Arjun Kapoor has too, recently, taken to the digital medium. His new venture ‘Arjun Recommends’ is all about his followers and friends discovering television shows and films that they were previously unaware of. Arjun Kapoor revealed on his venture, that he has been a fan of chick flicks ever since he was a kid, and he is not ashamed to admit it!
The actor says that chick flicks are actually one of the smartest sources of writing in the industry. Arjun Kapoor further listed some of his favourite films –
I have been a fan of chick flicks since my childhood and I have come across some of the smartest writings through these films. Who can forget the cult classics like ‘Devil Wears Prada’, ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’, ‘Pretty Woman’, ‘Sleepless in Seattle’, ‘Love Actually’. I love this genre thoroughly because they have delivered some of the best cinema that we have all seen and grown up on. So, I’m all for good chick flicks, anyday!
The actor admits binge-watching chick flicks, and he feels there is nothing to be ashamed of as they are totally worth the time and effort!
I have actually binged on chick flicks and I’m not ashamed to admit it. Trust me, a lot of men watch chick flicks as they are thoroughly enjoyable films. I love sharp-witted, skillfully written chick flicks because they are out and out entertainers and totally worth the time or money invested to watch them.
On the work front, Arjun Kapoor is currently working on period drama Panipat.
