Big B Says ‘Badla’ Success Not Being Celebrated, SRK Saves The Day

The Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu – starrer has earned about Rs. 85.26 crores at the box office. The film has avowed audiences and critics alike. Yet, there is some sort of a silence that prevails with regards to the film’s success on social media – which Amitabh Bachchan tweeted about on his profile.

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted a statement, that read, “Neither the Producer, nor the distributor, nor the on-line Producer, or any else in the Industry, in general .. has even spent a nano second to compliment the success of this film #Badla ..”

Shah Rukh Khan, then, replied to Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet, saying that they are all awaiting a party from him! Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, “Sir hum toh wait kar rahe hain ki aap party kab de rahein hain hum sabko!” He further added a hilarious line that read, “We r waiting outside Jalsa every nite!” However, that was not all that was to the conversation. Amitabh Bachchan instantly retaliated to Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet.

Amitabh Bachchan shared a Tweet that read, “Film mein kaam humne kiya, produce aapne kiya, promotions mein niswarth yogdaan humne diya, ab party bhi hum dein?” Also responding to Shah Rukh Khan’s claim that he waited outside Jalsa every night, he said, “outside Jalsa every night koi nahin aata!!” However, Shah Rukh also wasn’t one to stay quiet either.

Shah Rukh Khan tweeted back to Amitabh Bachchan, as it read, “Sir film aapki hai, acting aapki hai.. hit aapki wajah se hai .. aap na hote toh film hi na hoti. Toh party … bhi??”

Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu had some fun on Twitter with a fan, who claimed the people next to them in the theatre  only came to the theatres to watch the movie and see if Shah Rukh Khan is in it. “The next seats girls only came to saw the movie because they’re sure ke is mein shahrukh ka kuch to hai,” read the tweet. Taapsee replied to the tweet, “Haan paisa toh hai na shahrukh ka.”

Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu worked for the second time together in Badla. Their first film, Pink, also did very well at the box office, and had also received critical acclaim.
