Captain Sartaj Singh From ‘Uri’ To Play Ravi Shastri In ’83 The Film

Dhairya Karwa, the ‘Uri’ actor who played the role of Captain Sartaj Singh Chandok in the film, has now bagged an all-new character to play in ’83 the film – the role of none other than cricketing stalwart Ravi Shastri.

The actor, according to reports, has already begun training for the role in Mumbai. Dhairya Karwa will be heading after the training to Dharamsala for a 10-day bonding sessions with the rest of the cast and crew. ’83 the film will have major parts shot in London and Scotland.

Ranveer Singh will be playing the lead role of Kapil Dev, on whose life the film is based. Other actors who have joined the final winning team include Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem, Chirag Patil, Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
