Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently shooting in Manali for his upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’, will soon be heading to Slovakia with Emraan Hashmi to shoot for their film together, Rummy Jafry’s upcoming thriller ‘Chehre’.
“We will be shooting an action sequence at a Slovakian national park and in south Poland beginning December 10. Amit ji will be leading a chase sequence. The schedule is spread over eight days with Amit ji also engaging in mild hand-to-hand combats. We have roped in two action directors from Europe to design the sequence,” producer Anand Pandit was earlier quoted as saying.
Emraan Hashmi, who feels he has widened his resume as an actor by working with actors like Amitabh Bachchan, caught in a conversation with GoodTimes said, “Amitabh Bachchan is extremely committed to his work. He’s been around for 4 almost decades and more, and it’s just amazing seeing the passion and conviction with which they still do their job diligently. He is on set on time, he is constantly rehearsing. He wants to get his character right. He comes for script reading sessions which is fantastic.”
Adding, “I am going to Slovakia, in -10 degrees to shoot and Mr. Bachchan is going to be there, running in the snow at 78, it’s amazing.”

Ahead of his shoot schedule, Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and wrote, “Today is today… tomorrow shall be the morrow… for work… idle is in mode of lethargic isolated unknown territory… the terrain needs to be known and cultured and tutored and dealt with… else idle is edelweiss – a European mountain plant… inept in meaning.”

It was only recently that Amitabh Bachchan, who always takes out time to connect with his fans and followers on social media, hinted at taking a retirement soon. In a tweet, the actor wrote, “Drowsy in the drugs that get administered to ease the flow of the cold through the veins and the body… they are strange these symptoms… they be delivered and rusty all along and then with sudden velocity enter within and devastate…Medications are a deterrent not a cure.. or at times a cure and not a deterrent.. who knows and who cares.. no one does but the body of the sufferer.. alone in the darkness of the hoarse throat and choked nostrils..Fear not dear brethen and sisteren of the Ef Blog , there is care and help on way and all shall be well by the end of the day tomorrow, or so they say.. they? Yes they… they are the ones that administer the pill to recovery, the pill to better countenance and the pill to rest well in an effort to assassinate that evil virus that may have most surreptitiously crept in..I am in state..I am in state of…I am in state of hallucination.. of an end to the woes of life, of the woes of fever and infection and those harsh tablets that keep us away from any trouble in the near future.. near is good, there can be none else..I speak to much and in monosyllable .. I should really retire.”
However, co-star Emraan Hashmi feels, it’s not happening any time soon.
