EXCLUSIVE: ‘Sacred Games 2’ Shoot In Progress, Nawazuddin Spills The Details

In an enthralling buildup to Netflix’s popular drama series, ‘Sacred Games 2’ has officially begun shooting and we have some exclusive pictures from the ongoing shoot. The much-adulated chemistry of Ganesh Gaitonde and Sartaj Singh is all set to return to the OTT screens some time really soon, as the second season of the series is slated for a mid-2019 release.

The shoots are currently underway in Mumbai, as Saif Ali Khan was recently spotted shooting for the series in the city’s heart. His getup was complete with Sartaj Singh’s classic maroon turban. The shoot, reportedly, is set to go on for a week’s time in Mumbai itself. Check out the clicks from the shoot!

Both Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were lauded for their performances in the series, as their roles were appreciated both critically and by audiences. Nawazuddin Siddiqui also revealed that the shoot for Sacred Games Season 2 has wrapped up in Africa, where they shot in parts of Cape Town and Johannesburg. The first season of Sacred Games also starred actresses Radhika Apte and Kubbra Sait in lead roles.

“The shoot for Sacred Games 2 is currently underway. We have shot in Kenya and South Africa and returned. A few scenes remain to be shot in India as well, around 4-5 days worth of shoot. It should release around June or July,” said Nawazuddin Siddiqui in an exclusive interview to Goodtimes.
