“I Had To Stand In Queues Unlike Some Star Kids”: Kartik Aaryan
Even though Kartik Aaryan never had any backing in the industry, the actor managed to win hearts with his performances. Whether it was his monologue in Pyaar Ka Punchnama or his role in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, the actor proved to us that he was here to stay and that he’s more than just the “boy-next-door”.
No doubt the actor has a huge fan following in today’s day and age but, his journey in the industry wasn’t easy.
Recently, during an interview with GOODTiMES, the actor opened up about the struggles he faced initially in the industry. He also admitted that he had a difficult journey as an outsider.
He stated, “It’s been a difficult journey, it is very difficult to make your own name, not just here but everywhere. Here it was difficult since I was never part of the same room. I had to stand in que to just get into one of the ten rooms that would lead you to the main room, whereas a lot of people would just skip the line and get access. I have had that journey and am proud of it. It’s given me the ability to see through everything as well as enriched my knowledge about cinema. Had I had everything from before I doubt I would have been all that perceptive. Maybe I would just have been lazy and entitled. I am happy I had it in the most difficult way possible.”
The actor is all set for the release of his next film ‘Shehzada’ which also stars Kriti Sanon. The film will hit theatres on 17th Feb 2023.
