IIT Bombay To Host A Special Screening Of Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput Starrer ‘Chhichhore’

Relive your college days with the ‘Chhichhore’ gang, Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajpur and Varun Sharma. Directed by Nitish Tewari of ‘Dangal’ fame, the film is heading to the Indian Institute of Technology to host a special screening for the students.

Nitish Tiwari who obtained his BTech degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1996 is being felicitated by his alma mater.

“It was at IIT Bombay where I discovered the actor, writer and director in me, thanks to my seniors and a fantastic extracurricular environment that exists at IITB. Living and interacting with truly fertile minds gave me a different perspective and approach towards life. I will forever remember all the enjoyable experiences I had…,” the Indian filmmaker was quoted saying.

The plot of the film revolves around a set of friends, the scenario of an engineering campus, and how they grow up to go their separate ways.

Interestingly, even Sushant Singh Rajput has a connection with engineering. He pursued Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, now Delhi Technological University, but dropped out in the third year of college to pursue acting.

While the trailer has been receiving a roar of claps, the film is slated to release on September 6, 2019.
