Irrfan returned to India on April 3, after being treated for a NeuroEndocrine tumor for almost a year, in London. The actor looked in the pink of health in the photos from the Mumbai airport that instantly went viral.
Upon returning, Irrfan also shared a heartfelt note, thanking everyone for all the love, even while he was away. And now, Maddock Films has shared pictures of the actor commencing shoot for Angrezi Medium, “What better way to start this Friday than starting something you all have been waiting for!” – the post read.

Angrezi Medium is being directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The previous edition of the film, Hindi Medium, was helmed by Saket Chaudhry. The film had Irrfan Khan in leading role, along with Pakistani actress Saba Qamar. The film was greatly appreciated, which is why the sequel is much awaited.
