Irrfan Khan Returns To India After Undergoing Cancer Treatment In London

Irrfan Khan, battling cancer, is back in India! The actor, after undergoing his treatment in London, has returned to his homeland, and speculations of him beginning to shoot for a film have already begun. Even though the actor hasn’t confirmed the same.¬†

The actor took to Twitter to share that he was diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine tumor, and that he was travelling out of the country for the treatment.

52-year old Irrfan, who has acted in several Bollywood hits such as Paan Singh Tomar, Lunchbox and Piku –¬†also has Hollywood films like Life of Pi and The Namesake¬†to his credit; and reports quote a¬†source close the actor, who has said that “He isn’t here for any treatment.” – Thus leading to speculations of him beginning to shoot for a¬†Hindi Medium¬†sequel.

While the reason for Irrfan’s return to India still remains unclear, fans are hoping he recovers soon and returns to the silver screen. Reports say that¬†Hindi Medium‘s producer, Dinesh Vijan, will make an official announcement about the film in some time.
