Actor Irrfan Khan has been away in London for a while now, shooting for Angrezi Medium. The actor was spotted at Mumbai airport on Saturday evening and speculations about his health started doing the rounds. However, an official statement clarified the same-
Irrfan had a successful surgery after wrapping Angrezi Medium shoot in London. He was missing home and has come to Mumbai for a few days and recover. We request the media to not speculate and thanking everyone again for the continued support.
Irrfan Khan had been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine tumour in March 2018. He had been undergoing treatment for the same in London, and had returned to India post successfully completing the course of treatment.
