John Abraham is Set To Co-Produce Biopic Of A Social Entrepreneur Revathi Roy

Bollywood is coming forward to produce movies that acknowledge the heroes of the society. This time its John Abraham, the actor has announced his next production, a biographical drama film based on the life of a social entrepreneur Revathi Roy.

The social entrepreneur Revathi Roy started Asia’s first all-women taxi service ‘Hey Deedee.’ The actor-producer is all set to back the project through his banner JA Entertainment, alongside Robbie Grewal’s Red Ice Films and Anil Bohra’s Vyka Entertainment. John Abraham posted a picture on Twitter and captioned it with, “Very happy to have Revathy Roy on board; her story flips the ‘rags to riches’ adage in a compelling way. A truly eventful & inspiring life that has empowered so many women in India. I can’t think of anyone better than Robbie to helm this dramatic yet delicately balanced film.”

Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh also confirmed the news on Twitter and wrote, “IT’S OFFICIAL. John Abraham announces new film… Collaborates with Robbie Grewal and Anil Bohra to produce social entrepreneur Revathi Roy’s biopic… Directed by Robbie Grewal… The film – not titled yet – is currently in pre-production stages.”
