Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest cop drama ‘Article 15’ released on June 28, and the film has been faring decently at the box office. Within three days of its release, the film has collected Rs. 12.27 crore. Upward trends are also indicative of the fact that the film’s box office collections will rise, slowly and steadily.

Article 15, opened to Rs 5 crore on Friday, June 28, the day of its released – and slowly gained momentum on Saturday – raking in Rs 7.25 crore. It was anticipated that the film would do business of Rs 8 crore at least on Sunday, June 30, in spite of the ongoing India Vs England cricket match.
Another film, meanwhile, which is showing an unbroken run at the box office is the Shahid Kapoor – Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh. The film is slowly inching towards the Rs 200 crore mark, within two weeks of its release. It had done total business of Rs 181.57 crore till Sunday, June 30 and is expected to show continued dominance on the box-office. Kabir Singh is the third highest grosser of 2019 – and it has comfortably overtaken other top-grossers of 2019, Total Dhamaal and Kesari.
