Who Threw ‘Chappal’ At Whom? Kangana’s Sister Takes War With Alia To Next Level

‘Brahmastra’ might be a trilogy, but we sincerely hope that Kangana Ranaut’s battle with Alia Bhatt ends after this third update of ours. In case you’re wondering what’s going on, here’s a little background.

It all started on evening on April 16, when Alia’s Highway co-star Randeep Hooda shared an encouraging tweet for the Kalank actress, saying he is ‘glad that (she) isn’t letting the opinions of very occasional actors and chronic victims affect her and her work.’

The tweet came after Kangana had called Alia’s performance in Gully Boy mediocre, and so Randeep calling her an ‘occasional actor’ and a ‘chronic victim’, obviously did not go down too well with (a) her fans on Twitter and (b) her sister, Rangoli Chandel. Who, later in the evening, lashed out at Randeep, accusing him of harassing Kangana while shooting for Ungli – and calling him a ‘permanent failure’.

Rangoli didn’t stop at Randeep, she brought up ‘nepotism’ and went on to say that Alia is successful because of ‘chamchagiri’. This is when Alia’s mother Soni Razdan tweeted saying ‘Mahesh Bhatt is the man who has given her (Kangana) a break, she goes on to attack his wife and daughter, over an over again. What is left to be said then about abusing and hatred, I wonder. Apart from character, of course. Agenda? What’s hers.’ Soni later removed the tweet – but not before Rangoli responded to it!

‘Dear Soni ji, Mahesh Bhatt never gave her a break, Anurag Basu did’. Read Rangoli’s tweet.

Kangana’s sister then went on to allege that Mahesh Bhatt got upset with Kangana when she refused to work on a film written by him.

Sh%t, however, hit the roof when Rangoli accused Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt of ‘throwing chappal’ on Kangana when she went for the preview of her own film, Woh Lamhe. ‘She cried whole (sic) night…and she was just 19 years old’, wrote Rangoli.

Meanwhile, Kangana has just arrived in Mumbai after finishing a schedule for her upcoming film, Panga. Neither Kangana or Alia, however, have commented on the issue, yet.
