Even before her next film ‘Judgemental Hai Kya’ releases, Kangana Ranaut shared a brand new avatar as the leading lady in another project! ‘Dhaakad’, which is her next action-entertainer is being directed by Razneesh Ghai. Kangana Ranaut also released a statement about the film, saying that Dhaakad comes at a time when cinema is increasingly becoming an exciting space for female lead actors.
After the success of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, it has been proven that audiences across the globe are loving larger than life films with a female hero. Dhaakad is not only a benchmark film for my career but will be a turning point for Indian cinema as well.
Kangana further spoke about the film being a one of a kind action film which is being mounted on a large scale. She also hoped that the film would be received well, and that if it did there would be no looking back for women in Indian cinema!
The project will commence shooting early next year, and the makers are hoping to rope in a leading action director from Hollywood to choreograph the action sequences in the film. Dhaakad releases on Diwali 2020.
