Kangana Ranaut On #MeToo Movement: Every Woman Is Responsible For Her Safety

The ‘Manikarnika’ actress is all-set to release her film on the 25th of January, 2019 – in which she has donned the hat of the lead actor and the Director too! As the leading lady of Manikarnika, Kangana Ranaut got candid in a recent interview where she said that every woman is ultimately responsible for her own safety.

“The right message needs to be given to young girls,” said Kangana Ranaut in an interview to the DNA. “Expecting another person to make sure that I am safe is not the right attitude. If I had thought like that at 16, God knows where I would be, maybe I wouldn’t have been alive. How can you expect another person to rescue you or be responsible for your safety? You don’t understand the dynamics of crime,” Kangana Ranaut said to the interviewees.

Kangana Ranaut also opened up about an incident where she was allegedly groped. “I was pinched on my butt in the middle of a group and that person was right there, looking at me. It was not even sexual, it was like ‘I did exactly what I was not supposed to do’. And looking me in the eye like ‘what are you going to do now?”

Meanwhile, the actress’ film ‘Manikarnika’ is all set to launch on the 25th January, 2019. We wish the actress all the very best for her upcoming release!
