The memorable character of Mr. Bajaj was originally played by Ronit Roy in the immensely popular Balaji venture Kasautii Zindagii Kayy. And the new Rishabh Bajaj in the new Kasauti is being played by none other than, Karan Singh Grover. What’s special about his look is the salt & pepper hair that’s creating ‘waves’ on the internet.
“My only two companions… Chaos and Victory. It’s time to attain another… We shall see,” is what Karan Singh Grover wrote on his own profile while sharing his look. Ekta Kapoor shared the same on her profile, describing Mr. Rishab Bajaj’s character and the serial in some detail.
“You are hardhearted as steel and sexy old wine… An acquired taste like single malt … you carry your calculated casualness with a panther like walk!!!! Mr Bajaj is back!!! Prerna now is going to be torn between Anu’s boyish yet deep intensity and Bajaj’s age old charm!!”
Interestingly, Karan Singh Grover’s look is being compared to that of Hollywood actor George Clooney – a big compliment in itself. Celebrity hairstylist Aalim, from Hakim Aalim, who has created the look for Mr. Bajaj’s character thinks that they are both great looking guys in their own right.
“George Clooney is someone who is naturally grey and if people believe that Karan is naturally grey, then it is a great thing,” said Aalim. Talking about how he along with his team worked on the look, Aalim says, “The whole world knows that Mr.Bajaj from Kasautii Zindagi Kay. The character is very suave and classy.We wanted it to look very natural and easy, not too dramatic and something which matched his skin tone. The look got approved in one or two tests only.”
