A film that cracked the horror-comedy genre before it became cool, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ is quite the memorable film of the 2000’s! Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan made us roll with mirth, but also sent shivers down our spine. After much speculation around the cast and script, the sequel to ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ has finally kicked off! Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan begin shooting for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, and they posted on their social media profiles about the same.

“And the journey begins,” wrote Kiara Advani about the shoot kickstarting. Kartik Aaryan wrote on his profile, in Devnagiri script, “Shubhaarambh”. The two can be seen together on the set of the film – Kartik Aaryan wearing a hoodie and Kiara Advani in a suit.

“It’s super exciting to get the opportunity to be a part of the franchise. Its my first time being directed by Anees sir and I’m looking forward to the experience. It’s being produced by the makers of my most special film so it feels like home working with Cine1 and T-Series again. Kartik and I are working together for the first time, can’t wait to begin this journey so we can bring the film to you soon,” said Kiara Advani about the film.
The actors also shared a few clicks from the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 set along with the clapper box.

Meanwhile, Kiara Advani’s Twitter account was recently hacked. “My Twitter account has been hacked. We are working on it to get it back. Please ignore any unnecessary or strange tweets being posted,” she wrote. The actress informed her followers about the mishap on her Instagram story, warning them to not click on any suspicious link that is sent to them from her account.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 releases on July 31 next year.
