Tamil superstar Vijay has nearly wrapped up his next film ‘Bigil’ – and the search is on for a leading lady for the project that he is working on after that. Reports suggest that Kiara Advani may be on the makers’ minds for the lead actress in Vijay’s action thriller ‘Thalapathy 64’. This will not be Kiara’s first South film outing, as the actress made her acting debut with Mahesh Babu’s Telugu film ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’.

The makers are vying for Kiara Advani as they want a Bollywood actress as the leading lady for the film. Kiara Advani rose to fame recently when she was starring in the Arjuna Reddy biopic remake Kabir Singh alongside actor Shahid Kapoor. Reports also suggest that Kiara herself has been impressed by the script of Vijay’s Thalapathy 64 and she is keen to shuffle around her schedule to be a part of the project.

Kiara Advani is also working on two upcoming films – Shershaah and Laxxmi Bomb. Her last film Kabir Singh crossed Rs 250 crores at the box office.
