After lending her voice for Netflix’s ‘Mowgli’ and producing the Marathi film ’15th August’ for the digital platform, Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit has announced her entry into the digital space, and while the name of the show is yet to be announced, we’re already excited, because the collaboration is with none other than producer Karan Johar.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, the filmmaker announced “We’ve got the queen of all things beautiful & grace for an upcoming Netflix India original…time to create magic in the digital space with her!”
So excited to be announcing my entry into the digital space! After the success of my first @NetflixIndia film production '15th August' and doing the voice of 'Nisha' from Mowgli, here's looking forward to another stellar show!

Madhuri Dixit also shared her excitement with her followers, mentioning how she was looking forward to the ‘stellar’ show. “So excited to be announcing my entry into the digital space! After the success of my first Netflix India film production ’15th August’ and doing the voice of ‘Nisha’ from Mowgli, here’s looking forward to another stellar show!”, she wrote.

Madhuri Dixit’s Ram Lakhan co-star, Anil Kapoor was quick to respond to the actress’ announcement. “You’ve won hearts with everything you do and I’m sure the same will happen with the Netflix original as well! Looking forward to watching this! All the best!”, he wrote. Madhuri thanked him for his words, “Means a lot coming from you!”, she added.
This, however, is not the first collaboration between Madhuri Dixit and Karan Johar – if you think hard enough, you’ll remember when you last saw the Dil Toh Pagal Hai star in a Dharma Production. Okay fine. Remember the blockbuster item song from the Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani? Yes, Ghagra was the first time Madhuri was seen in a Karan Johar film, and from what it appears to be, her journey into Dharmatic has been much looked forward to, since.
