Starring opposite Tara Sutaria, Sidharth Malhotra’s forthcoming release reunites him with Riteish Deshmukh and Milap Zaveri after four years. The three had collaborated on ‘Ek Villian’ and now comes, ‘Marjaavaan’.
Vaguely reminiscent, the two actors are in for each other’s blood and Tara Sutaria plays Sidharth Malhotra’s love interest. In the trailer, Riteish Deshmukh even sings ‘Teri Galiyan’ as he makes a devilish entry, a song from their previous film together, Ek Villian. One can’t help but be reminded of the 2014 plot, it plays in your head in entirety as you pass through the trailer.
Riteish Deshmukh is a gun-toting psycho killer who is waiting to haunt Sidharth Malhotra’s gangster turned good transition as he falls in love with the Shraddha Kapoor replacement, who much like her former dies in the film, at least from what it looks.

Marjaavaan is slated to hit the silver screen on November 8. The film was initially slated to release on October 2. Milap Zaveri, the director, revealed that some shots had to be taken five times as Riteish’s character posed technical challenges and required filming from different angles against the green screen. Producer Nikkhil Advani further revealed to a publication that due to extensive VFX, the film’s release was pushed.
