When asked if ‘villain’ Riteish Deshmukh has something for the singers, be it Shraddha Kapoor who he killed in ‘Ek Villain’ or Tara Sutaria who he might be killing in ‘Marjaavaan’, the actor had something interesting to reveal.
“I don’t know. Actually, sirf Shraddha ko maine building se dhaka diya tha. Iss film mai abhi Sidharth ne maara hai ki maine marwaya hai, dekhna padega” he shares.
Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh are reuniting years after Ek Villain in their upcoming film Marjaavaan, however the trailer of their soon-to-be-released film tells us that they’re in somewhat similar quandary still. Inspired by a Korean hit I Saw The Devil, their previous film saw Guru aka Sidharth Malhotra as a cold-blooded gangster redeemed by the love of Aisha, played by Shraddha Kapoor, who Riteish Deshmukh killed.
In Marjaavaan, Sidharth Malhotra essays the role of Raghu, while Riteish’s character, the vertically-challenged antagonist, is named Vishnu. What happens to Zoya, played by Tara Sutaria, is now a mystery. Rakul Preet Singh also has a cameo in this absolutely new twist of fate.
