“Naatu Naatu” To Be Performed On Oscars Stage
Looks like the RRR storm isn’t coming to an end anytime soon as the peppy chartbuster song “Naatu Naatu” from filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film is making its way to the Oscars stage. The viral dance track that made us all go “Naacho Naacho” and let’s not forget to credit Ram Charan and Jr NTR whose unmatched chemistry and coordination ended up making the song a global phenomenon.
The Golden Globe Award winning song that has been nominated for Oscars in the ‘Best Original Song’ category will be performed on March 12 in Dolby theater by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava.

Confirming the same, composer of the song MM Keeravani said, “The singers will perform the song. I won’t be joining them. I don’t think I’m in the right shape to be doing a live performance. Someday in the future, after I get time to work out, you may see me on stage. Not now. Not at the Oscars”.
This is the second time that an Indian song will be performed live at the Oscars stage as before this, the song ‘Jai Ho’ from the 2008 film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ was performed at the by singer-composer AR Rehman in the year 2009.

Recently the song was also performed by actor Alia Bhatt during an award function who also plays a pivotal role in the film alongside Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Ajay Devgn.
