After ‘Uri’, India To Now Get A Film On The Biggest Naval Operation Post World War II

The producers of ‘Tumhari Sulu’ are teaming up yet again! This time, however, their film is not going to be a slice of life offering. As, war dramas vie for screen space, here comes another titled ‘Navy Day’, which will highlight the biggest Naval operation conducted by the Indian Navy.

The 1971 Indo-Pak war and the bombing of Karachi; one of the most successful and audacious Naval operations also called the Operation Trident, will make its way onscreen. The operation, conducted on December 4, is celebrated as Navy Day.

This comes soon after the blockbuster success Uri, which was based on the surgical strikes conducted by the Indian army in 2018 at the border of Pulwama.
