After being honoured with the Golden Dragon Award at the Cardiff International Film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has won another award at Singapore International Film Festival.
The actor is all set to receive the Lesley Ho Asian Film Talent Award at the Singapore International Film Festival for his Emmy-nominated Netflix original series The Sacred Games, on November 23.
Tapping in to the country’s interest in crime stories, Sacred Games saw Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the avatar of a Bombay underworld warlord Ganesh Gaitonde. The drama also starred Saif Ali Khan as the cop hot on Gaitonde’s heels, Sartaj Singh.
On the work front, the actor will be soon seen in Motichoor Chaknachoor, a wedding comedy that slated to release on November 15. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has also wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film, Bole Chudiyan, which is helmed by his brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui.
The Singapore International Film Festival which is set to return with its 30th edition, will commence on November 21 and conclude on December 8.
