After his much-loved stint as Ganesh Gaitonde in ‘Sacred Games’, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is ready to play the lead role for the second time in another Netflix original, ‘Serious Men’. 

Serious Men will be an adaptation of Manu Joseph’s book by the same name. The Netflix original will be directed by Sudhir Mishra. The story of the film will revolve around a wily slum dweller who cons the country into believing that his dim-witted 10-year-old son is a genius. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s character is named Ayyan Mani in the film. Siddiqui shared his excitement about the new project-

I am very excited to be a part of Netflix’s Serious Men and work with a creative mind like Sudhir Mishra. This is my second stint with Netflix after Sacred Games and I hope that people give Ayyan Mani the same love that they extended to Ganesh Gaitonde.

Meanwhile, Siddiqui is also going to be seen again in the second season of Sacred Games, which is due to release soon. Siddiqui shared about the release of the second season, “I am eagerly awaiting the release of Sacred Games 2 and can’t wait to see the audience’s reaction.”
