You read that right. Bollywood celebrities Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, along with the Captain of the Indian Cricket Team won big at the ‘Instagrammer Of The Year 2019’ awards in Mumbai.
While PeeCee was declared the ‘Most Followed’ instagrammer – with 39 million followers spread across continents, Deepika was awarded the ‘Storyteller of the Year’, courtesy her impromptu moonwalks, and fun boomerangs from events.
Captain Virat Kohli, on the other hand, won an award for having the most ‘Engaging’ account of the year. No, not for all the ‘aww’ comments he gets for his posts with wife Anushka. It’s for all his locker-room and training seshes posts.
Joining the list of winners was also Sara Ali Khan who made her presence felt both – in Bollywood and on Instagram in 2018. She, with her fast-growing follower-base, won the ‘Rising Star of the Year’.
