As if the recent announcement of her upcoming film ‘The Sky Is Pink’ being premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival wasn’t big enough – it has now been revealed that Priyanka Chopra, along with Hugh Jackman and other prominent figures, is going to be a part of a new docu-series for National Geographic.
Bollywood’s much-loved actress Priyanka Chopra is now also an international rage, and thus announcements of her big collaborations definitely get everyone excited, but don’t surprise. And this particular documentary series for Nat Geo is no different. The big deal here, actually, is that Priyanka will be seen framing global poverty issues – doesn’t that make you proud now?
This, however, is not the first time that Priyanka will be seen addressing a social cause. The actress is also UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights. And for those of you who don’t know it already, she will also be receiving the the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award at the Unicef Snowflake Ball in December.
The six-part show will release on September 5. Watch this space for more.
