Priyanka Chopra Reveals How Nick Jonas Asked Her Out On A DATE

Priyanka Chopra is leaving no stone unturned in her career. The actor is killing it in Hollywood and is not shying away to talk about her personal life, her past (pervious relationships) and her present – Nick Jonas and Malti.

In a recent interview, Priyanka Chopra opened up about how Nick Jonas approached her. She talked about the DM he sent her and said, “Like any self-respecting girl, I Googled him. So one night, room service, me, and Google. And guess what came up? This video called ‘Close.'”

She said after seeing the video for “Close,” she immediately sent Nick her number.

She shared, “My response to him was, ‘Why don’t you text me? My team can see my DMs. [I thought], ‘That body deserves at least a date,'” Priyanka shared. “Every time he sings that song on stage for me, I get weak in the knees…. I landed on that video and I saw it and I had to open the window or something.”

Priyanka Chopra also opened up about their courtship and their first few dates. When asked about the time she realised that Nick was the one for her, she said, “I didn’t, he did. Anyone who knows him, knows him about it. He’s a leader, he’ll take you an envelope in this cloud of Nick-dom. He’s an experienced guy. You just go with it. And that’s what happened when he and I finally went on a date. We’d been trying to meet a couple of times. We’d randomly been texting. He texted me, talking about how inspired he was about my UNICEF work,” she shared. “He was very insightful about it, and that was softened by cold, icy heart.”

The revealed that Nick Jonas then finally proposed that they meet up and see Beauty & the Beast together with a group of friends.

She shared, “We saw Beauty & the Beast and went out to dinner after. We spent, like, 8 hours that day together. It was a magical evening. Nothing happened, dropped me at my hotel room. And I remember being so giddy. I was really taken that day,” she shared. “Our next date was a baseball match. I did not need to know baseball. He talked me through it, he made jokes. He made me laugh, he made me feel safe. That night…we were together til 2am. Every day, we just met [up,]” she said of their relationship blossoming.
