Ranbir Kapoor: “I Want To Take A Break From Films”

Actor Ranbir Kapoor who is going to be seen in Tu Jhooti Main Makkar opposite Shradhha Kapoor talked about embracing fatherhood, Alia becoming a mom at the peak of her career, taking a break from films and much more, in an exclusive interview with GOODTiMES’ Puja Talwar. 

When asked about two truths and one lie that he’d like all of us to know, the actor replied to the question by saying, “I am taking a sabbatical from work. I am considering a mythological film and I am doing a biopic.” 

The actor further added that he hasn’t signed anything post Animal and that he is considering taking a break from films. He said, “Post ‘Animal’ I really haven’t signed anything. I am not looking for anything else. I would like to take a little bit of a break after Tu Jhooti Main Makkar and Animal to understand where I stand, where the industry stands. There’s been a huge correction about the stories about the budgets, the actor fees. I think the industry is going through the correction phase and hopefully by next year we will be back on our feet.”

The actor admitted to having a fake account on Instagram and he also revealed why he is not active on social media. Apart from this, Ranbir also rated himself as a father, a son, a brother and a husband. To know more, watch this space.
