Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor were spotted leaving the Mumbai airport, together. According to a leading daily, the duo will shoot in Ladakh for a 10-day period and other details about the schedule have been kept under wraps.
A source was quoted saying, “Shamshera will have the most breathtaking visual experience that cine-goers have seen on screen. Director Karan Malhotra wanted to shoot some of the most crucial portions in Ladakh because it would add to the visual appeal of the film. Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor left Mumbai a couple of days ago and will start shooting for the film today. Since the movie is looking to transport viewers back to a period, huge sets have been built to recreate an era where Ranbir is pitted against Sanjay Dutt.”
The source further shared, “The shooting of Shamshera has gone perfectly so far and given that it is looking to transport audiences back to a period, huge sets have been built to recreate an era where Ranbir is pitted against Sanjay Dutt. The Ladakh schedule, however, will have portions of Ranbir and Vaani only.”
While Alia Bhatt cancelled shooting in Kashmir in the wake of unrest, reportedly, Ranbir and Vaani will be shooting in Ladakh, undeterred. Slated to release on July 30, 2020, Shamshera will witness Ranbir in a double role and as a dacoit.
