You read that right. One of the most loved celebrity chat shows of all times, ‘Rendezvous With Simi Garewal’ is returning to screens, the show’s host Simi Garewal told a leading publication. That’s not all. Its opening episode is something everyone is looking forward to, read on to find out why.
In a conversation with Mid Day, Simi said she is planning to recreate her super-popular chat show Rendezvous, 15 years after it last aired on TV – with new-age actors, and wouldn’t one think of that as great idea? After all, the graceful Simi really knows how to get celebrities to open up in a way nobody else can.
While the format of the show will remain the same (thank god for that), one will witness a lot of fresh faces, amongst which, the newly wedded Deepika and Ranveer will be the first. ‘They promised me their first interview together’, Simi told Mid Day.
Simi Garewal’s show has hosted the likes of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar.
