Jhootha Kahin Ka is family entertainer about two boys who go to Mauritius for studies, but are reluctant to come back home starring Omkar Kapoor and Sunny Singh, who were last seen in the Luv Ranjan directorial Pyaar Ka Panchnama 2. Rishi Kapoor essays the role of Omkar Kapoor’s father in the film who is unbeknownst to his errant son’s lifetsyle.
Coincidentally, the title is borrowed from the 1979 Neetu Singh-Rishi Kapoor starrer Jhoota Kahin Ka. The film, which had been announced in August 2018, had wrapped most of its shoot schedules prior to Kapoor’s travel to New York to undergo treatment for cancer.

Rishi Kapoor who has been in the United States for nearly 9 months now, is on the road to recovery and had announced that he would be home soon. A constant stream of family and friends from the film fraternity have dropped into visit Rishi and Neetu Kapoor in New York. Jhoota Kahin Ka, meanwhile, will hit screens on July 19.
