Salman Khan Adopts Flood-Affected Maharashtra Village

Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s active involvement in social causes has always been lauded, and in his latest gesture, he has adopted a flood-affected village in Maharashtra. The actor has been providing financial help to various social causes through his foundation ‘Being Human.’

The Dabangg actor will provide aid in rebuilding homes for the 2019 flood-affected Khidrapur village in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra. According the sources, Salman Khan has collaborated with the ELAN GROUP and and shared a post on Instagram saying “I wish the ELAN GROUP the very best for their sincere and noble gesture in having adopted, 2019 flood affected Khidrapur village in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra. They have adopted the village in Maharashtra to rebuild their homes.”

The sources also revealed, Salman Khan has taken the responsibilities for the welfare of the village along with the ELAN GROUP and will be providing shelters to the needy. Previously, the actor had also donated after floods in Jammu and Kashmir; also, in 2018, he had donated Rs 2 crore for cancer patients.
