Salman Khan’s latest ‘Bharat’, made its way into the 100 crore club – it’s box office collections on day four were Rs. 122.20 crores.

The Eid release, which opened on Wednesday, had earned 42.3 crores on its opening – breaking the record of Salman Khan’s previous blockbuster Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’s opening day earnings which stood at 40 crores, as well as his previous hits Sultan and Ek Tha Tiger, which earned Rs 36.54 crore and Rs 32.93 crore on Day 1, respectively. The actor said, it was his career’s biggest opening and thanked fans on social media.

The film has been steadily gaining ground through word-of-mouth, despite mixed reviews from critics. Its collections on Friday were 28 crores, and despite a dip on Saturday, the collections stood at 26.7 crores. Bharat released across 4700 screens in India and 1300 screens overseas.

After the debacle of Tubelight and Race 3, Bharat’s success is a welcome relief for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, whose last Zero sank without a trace at the box office.
