Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan are currently in Bangkok, shooting for their upcoming film, the remake of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor’s 90s hit, ‘Coolie No. 1’.
While Varun and Sara will be seen stepping in the shoes of Govinda and Karisma, Paresh Rawal will be seen playing the role Kader Khan essayed in the original film.
Varun took to his social media handle to share his look as Raju. Before revealing his avatar, the actor teased his fans with a post that read “guess who’s coming”, as he promised to reveal the first look.
On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan took to reveal the film’s poster in a rather unique way. The actor wrote in a rhyme, “Happy Birthday to me, Ji haan aaj hamara birthday aaya, Ji haan maine apna poster laya, Birthday ke din apna vada nibhaya, Inshallah sabke dil ko yeh bhaya #sarakishayari will always be best”.
Following the original plot of the film, Coolie No. 1 is slated to release on May 1, 2020.
