Sara Ali Khan Says ‘Waiting For My Shot Since 2000’ In A Throwback Post

“Acting has always been a dream, but then I got distracted.” Sara Ali Khan was almost convinced that she wanted to do medicine in 10th grade. But she’s recited more than often that acting has always been her dream. So, I decided to do law and I studied History and Political Science. But then in my last year, I did an acting course,” she was quoted saying in an event. Expressing how long a wait it has been, Sara Ali Khan shared a throwback post on her Instagram handle.

“Waiting for my shot since 2000 #apnatimeayega #tbt #sarakadrama,” wrote Sara Ali Khan as she treated her fans and followers with a picture from her childhood.

Sara Ali Khan had always wanted to become an actor. While father Saif Ali Khan doesn’t understand why the girls in his family have the best degrees from the most prestigious colleges but still want to be actors, Sara Ali Khan asserts “education is important at a personal level, it makes us who we are, it allows us to speak the way that we do.” Caught in a conversation with GoodTimes, Sara Ali Khan shared that many people think her degree has been a waste of her time and a waste of a seat, but she disagrees. “Education is important to me”. Which is way she waited for a long time to make her Bollywood debut.

Sara Ali Khan will soon be seen in Aaj Kal alongside Kartik Aaryan and in Coolie No 1 with Varun Dhawan.
