While Shah Rukh Khan’s next acting venture is under wraps, a lot seems to be happening for him on the production front. Shah Rukh Khan’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment has acquired the rights of Netflix’s popular Spanish show ‘Money Heist’. The show is being adapted into the Indian context as a feature film.
A source revealed to a leading entertainment portal that Shah Rukh Khan loved the show, and would willingly adapt it into the Indian context. Reports also suggest that the actor may be involved in the film more than just in his role as a producer, however, this is not officially confirmed yet. At present, his role is limited to being a producer. Money Heist was among Netflix’s most-watched non-English language series, and was also nominated for an Emmy award in the Best Drama Series in 2018.
Red Chillies Entertainment, which is Shah Rukh Khan’s production banner, is also producing Betaal which is a horror web series for Netflix. Similarly, Bard Of Blood is another series for Netflix starring Emraan Hashmi is also being produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

Shah Rukh Khan had recently lent his voice to the Hindi dub for Lion King along with his son Aryan Khan. While Shah Rukh played Mufasa, his son Aryan Khan played Simmba.
