Sidharth Malhotra To Play A Cop In Rowdy Rathore 2?

Our munda kukkad kamal da aka Sidharth Malhotra who is busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s upcoming series ‘Indian Police Force’ might play the role of a cop yet again. 

According to reports, the ‘Mission Majnu’ actor has been roped to play a cop in the sequel of Akshay Kumar starrer film ‘Rowdy Rathore’. The actor has been approached to play a pivotal role in the film by producer Shabina Khan.

A source close to the development of the film stated, “Shabina Khan has been trying to develop Rowdy Rathore 2 for a while now. She is in conversation with Siddharth Malhotra to play the role of a cop in the film. Sid too has shown interest, however is still contemplating if he should play the role of a cop role outside3 of the Rohit Shetty cop universe.”

While there is no confirmation on Akshay Kumar’s role in the film, the makers are planning to take the film on floors in the next two months.

Only time will tell if we will get to see the original rowdy (Akshay Kumar) back in action and if he will join forces with Sidharth Malhotra for  the upcoming action thriller film.
