The much-awaited Rohit Shetty film – ‘Simmba’ – starring the powerhouse Ranveer Singh and starlet Sara Ali Khan is releasing on December 28. Its star-studded premiere, however, took place on December 25 – and here are all the pictures from the event!
Producer Karan Johar – who has been looking forward to releasing his first film with Ranveer and Sara – arrived in style!
After directing Deepika Padukone in Chennai Express, Rohit Shetty had a lot of fun directing Deepika’s husband – Ranveer Singh in Simmba. Ranveer and Rohit shared a great work chemistry and their ‘bromance’ was evident from this heartfelt post that Rohit Shetty shared, congratulating Deepika and Ranveer in their wedding.
Shetty wrote ‘I am proud to showoff today, that my Simmba is marrying my Meenamma‘. So sweet, no?
Ranveer Singh drove to the premiere himself with a more Singham expression than Simmba – but given Mumbai’s traffic situation – we’re not really complaining!
Sara Ali Khan, on the other hand, struck a pose with mother Amrita Singh and brother Ibrahim Ali Khan. She looked colorful and cheerful as always!
Deepika Padukone was spotted smiling away with her mother-in-law Anju Bhavnani. This is the first time she was seen hanging out with Ranveer’s family, post their wedding in November.
The family looked extremely happy together – with Ranveer’s parents on the front seats, and his sister and wife Deepika sharing an inside joke on the back seat.
