Here is the report card, did the class of 2019 make the grade? Well, the critics weren’t impressed much; despite average, and some not-so-impressive reviews, ‘Student Of The Year 2’ is managing decent box office numbers. The film started its run at the box office on Friday, on a high note. It collected a revenue of Rs. 12.60 crores at the box office on Friday itself, making it the second highest opener in Tiger Shroff’s career.
#StudentOfTheYear2 puts up a fairly good total on Day 1… Biz slowed down towards evening shows… Sat and Sun crucial… Substantial growth – especially at plexes – is essential for a healthy total… Fri ₹ 12.06 cr. India biz. #SOTY2 is Tiger’s second highest opener *so far*.

Student Of The Year 2 also was hit by the Indian Premier League (IPL) final on Sunday night. The film also faces stiff competition from Avengers: Endgame, which continues a strong run at the box office. Will the students make the box office cut off, and pass out with flying colours? Let’s wait and watch!
